Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the sale of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning the department to ensure a visually appealing store environment
  • Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise
  • Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet customer needs
  • Following food safety and handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to ensure accurate inventory management
  • Ensuring the department is fully stocked with merchandise and ready for business
  • Following Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Stocking merchandise/picking, downstocking if applicable, and applying product protection when required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong commitment to customer service, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
