Project Manager, Mechanical Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager, Mechanical Engineering Specialist to join our team at Tiree. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex mechanical engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance and advice on the best approaches to complex mechanical engineering projects, leveraging your expertise to ensure successful outcomes.
- Lead the planning and scoping of mechanical projects from a technical perspective, ensuring that our clients' needs are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and guidance on feasibility studies, design reviews, and technical documentation.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines and budgets are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, and P.Eng active license.
- At least 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and materials science.
- Experience with 2D and 3D modeling software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- In-depth understanding of Canadian Building Codes (NBCC, OBC, etc.) and relevant safety and regulatory standards, such as ASME, ANSI, and OSHA.
