About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at LCS Construction Solutions Inc. as a Site Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our construction team with various tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading and unloading materials, and setting up scaffolding and other equipment.
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, including concrete and asphalt.
  • Equipment Operation: Assist in operating equipment such as bobcats, concrete vibrators, and concrete saws.
  • Task Completion: Assist in completing tasks such as erecting and dismantling scaffolding, mixing and pouring concrete, and leveling earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining equipment and tools, including cleaning and lubricating machinery.
  • Team Support: Provide support to the construction team, including assisting with tasks and providing guidance and training as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
