About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UX/UI expert to join our team and help shape the future of Energy for our Energy Data Insights OSDU Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, pain points, and requirements.
  • Create user-centric designs and storyboards that seamlessly integrate advanced data analysis capabilities.
  • Develop prototypes, mockups, and wireframes to validate design concepts and collect feedback from stakeholders and end-users.
  • Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across the OSDU Data Platform and AWS Energy product suite.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Generative AI/Agentive AI for data visualization, user interaction, and interface design.
  • Utilize deep knowledge of the energy industry to tailor the user experience to the specific needs of our target customers.
  • Participate in the development and testing of the final product, providing guidance and support to the engineering team.
  • Continuously measure and analyze user feedback to iteratively improve the product design and enhance the overall user experience.

Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of design experience
  • Have an available online portfolio
  • Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
  • Experience with UX design of complex workflows
