Job Summary
The South Whiteshell Medical Centre Inc. is seeking a qualified physician to provide primary care services to the patient population in Falcon Lake and surrounding communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality primary care services to patients in a rural setting
- Develop and maintain a patient panel, including routine check-ups, health assessments, and management of chronic conditions
- Offer walk-in services on regularly scheduled days
- Bill MB Health for services provided and manage administrative responsibilities
- Collaborate with the board of directors to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic
Requirements
- Eligibility for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
- Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French)
- Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Good work and attendance record
Working Conditions
- Work in a clinic setting with three exam rooms, a waiting room, and a small office area
- Collaborate with the board of directors and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices
