Job Summary

Crystal Consulting Inc. is seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall sheets to create smooth surfaces for painting and decoration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and maintain a professional appearance
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet project requirements
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to ensure stability and safety
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials
Work Environment

Crystal Consulting Inc. offers a permanent work term with 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English, and we are a recognized employer.
