At Slalom, we're seeking a visionary Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale cloud solutions that drive business transformation. Your expertise in hybrid cloud solution architecture frameworks, public cloud, and hybrid cloud solutions will be invaluable in helping our clients achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide clients on enterprise architecture landscapes, encompassing technology, cloud, data, security, and integrations.
  • Design large-scale IT solutions, driving business transformation.
  • Assess and mitigate IT risks, focusing on security, compliance, operational efficiency, revenue, and growth.
  • Develop technology strategies to optimize IT effectiveness, particularly in business application integration.
  • Craft target state solution architectures, conducting gap analyses, and contributing to solution strategy and roadmap development.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with clients and business analysts.
  • Assist in estimating project work effort.

Requirements:

  • Mastery in Hybrid cloud solution architecture frameworks, driving business transformation.
  • Proficiency in Public Cloud (Azure is a must) and Hybrid Cloud solutions.
  • Experience in application lifecycle management (ALM) and DevOps automation, including CI/CD pipeline architecture, utilizing tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and Bicep.
  • Experience in API Integrations.
  • Experience spanning diverse businesses, domains, and industries. Experience in Public Sector is an asset.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable enterprise application architectures.
  • Leadership in crafting technology strategies across multiple product lines.
  • Holistic thinking and comprehension of Enterprise Architecture, security and compliance (e.g., PCI), and data architecture assessments.
  • Aptitude for identifying gaps and risks in processes and systems.
  • Development of enterprise-level governance guidance, coupled with experience in C-level stakeholder presentations.
