About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, B.C. as part of our Cardiac Care Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Clinical Decision Making: Use evidence-based practice to make informed decisions about patient care, collaborating with the interprofessional care team as needed.
  • Patient Education: Teach patients and families about health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), completion of post-graduate specialty nursing courses/program.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant software applications.
