About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at KTL Transport Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, monitoring the movement of supplies and materials, and preparing and submitting reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics operations, including inventory levels, shipment tracking, and other relevant metrics.
  • Warehouse Management: Organize and maintain warehouse and work areas to ensure efficient use of space and resources.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
