**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Greaser to join our team at Pratt Industries, Inc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Practice safe work habits at all times;
- Responsible for the lubrication of corrugating equipment with daily functions including greasing bearings, checking gearbox oil levels, cleaning filters, and performing preventative maintenance checks;
- Treating wastewater and building maintenance;
- Follow up all work to ensure repairs and work are performed properly;
- Maximize equipment utilization by maintaining machinery to run at available capacity and speed;
- Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with company guidelines;
- Willingly work all necessary hours and shifts;
- Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas;
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A high school diploma or GED;
- Ability to read and follow instructions on factory masters;
- Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume, and rate;
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form;
- Working knowledge of equipment design and capabilities, product layouts and production specifications, product quality specifications, and quality standards.
