Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team at Borgata Event Centre by Avani. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Service: Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables, describe menu items, and make recommendations.
  • Customer Service: Greet patrons, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Inventory Management: Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware.
  • Wine Knowledge: Perform sensory evaluation of wines.
  • Communication: Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
