About the Job
We are looking for a talented Talent Management and Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing impactful people strategies across all areas of the business.
In this role, you will work closely with business leaders to ensure seamless facilitation, effective communication, and smooth change management of our P&C programs, policies, and practices.
You will have the opportunity to provide support and ensure compliance with employment legislation across multiple provinces in Canada and California.
Key Accountabilities- Developing and implementing people analytics to monitor trends and identify opportunities for improvement
- Providing strategic recommendations to business leaders on how to enhance their business results through effective people strategies
- Building and maintaining positive relationships, providing leadership, and coaching on all people-related programs, strategies, and execution, across the business at all levels
- Working with the People & Culture team to build, develop, and implement templates, programs, and policies to enable the business, modeling and reinforcing our high-performance coaching culture
- Collaborating with business leaders to evolve organizational structures and talent strategies for short- and long-term scalability
- Sharing the People & Culture roadmap and gaining buy-in/support from the business to champion it with their teams
- Providing consultation and guidance on performance management, engagement, career planning, and talent development, ensuring effective change management in all people-related activities
