Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team in Victoria, BC. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software applications in the Power and Energy Management space.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop software applications using C#.NET, ASP.NET, HTML/CSS/Javascript, Angular, RESTful webservices, WCF, and SQL Server.
- Work with test automation environments such as Selenium or Cypress to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver working software in each sprint.
- Contribute to the construction of safe and secure software, and help improve our tooling, process, and technology.
- Develop and maintain Azure cloud environment expertise.
- 5+ years of experience in software development in one or more of the mentioned technologies.
- Experience with test automation environments such as Selenium or Cypress.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Understanding of continuous delivery and associated automation systems.
- Experience with Azure cloud environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience in structured approaches to the design and development of large-scale systems.
