Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Operations Director to join our team at Inter-citi Logistics. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation networks and improve efficiency
  • Manage and coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve human resources planning
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions, delegating authority as necessary
  • Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to drive business growth
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, logistics, or transportation management
  • 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success in logistics operations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Experience with transportation management systems and logistics software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high expectations.
