Job Title: Accountant Clerk
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant Clerk to join our team at Elavathinkal Retail Pvt Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements;
- Post journal entries;
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports;
- Reconcile accounts;
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll;
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation;
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems;
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Familiarity with fast-paced environments and tight deadlines;
- Accurate and reliable, with strong time management skills.
