Job Title: Senior Finance Manager, Service Delivery

At Durham Children's Aid Society, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager, Service Delivery to join our team. As a key member of our Finance and Property Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance and Property Services departments, ensuring excellent service delivery and fiscal accountability.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive financial growth and improvement, in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to staff, as needed, to ensure the provision of high-quality financial services and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address financial risks and opportunities, ensuring the organization's financial well-being.
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and other financial documents to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education specializing in Finance or Accounting.
  • Currently holds a CPA, CGA, ACCA designation or equivalent qualification.
  • 7+ years of experience in a field directly related to the job with increasing accountability and complexity.
  • 3+ years of experience in formal people management (e.g. set goals, coaching, performance management), preferably in a unionized environment.
  • An equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training may be considered as appropriate.
