About the Role

Finesse Tech is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join their team and contribute to the development of their analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Interpretation: The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting complex data sets and developing insights that drive business decisions.
  2. Database Development: The Data Analyst will design, develop, and maintain databases to support business intelligence initiatives.
  3. Strategy Implementation: The candidate will work closely with the team to implement strategies that improve statistical efficiency and quality.
  4. Requirements Gathering: The Data Analyst will lead or participate in requirements gathering workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  5. User Story Development: The candidate will develop user stories with business partners and contribute to story point estimations.
  6. Functional Requirements Documentation: The Data Analyst will lead the creation of functional requirements documentation.
  7. Data Mapping: The candidate will map data from source systems to business terms.
  8. Solution Delivery: The Data Analyst will deliver solutions using agile sprint methodology.
  9. Testing and Quality Assurance: The candidate will participate in daily stand-up meetings, define user acceptance testing strategy, and facilitate testing.
  10. Post-Implementation Activities: The Data Analyst will assist in post-implementation activities.
  11. Scope Management: The candidate will facilitate scope management using user stories and sprint planning.
  12. Collaboration: The Data Analyst will collaborate with solution architects and developers.
  13. Process Mapping: The candidate will perform process mapping and lineage on data points.
  14. Quality Assurance: The Data Analyst will articulate quality assurance plans on analytics solutions.
  15. Documentation: The candidate will update and maintain solution documentation.
Requirements
  1. Technical Skills: The successful candidate will have experience with PowerBI, reports, and visualizations.
  2. Communication Skills: The Data Analyst will have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Desirable Skills
  1. Data Analysis: The candidate will have experience with data analysis and data management.

The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to continuous improvement and experience with dashboard creation and data-driven solutions. The work schedule is Monday to Friday.
