**Job Description**

The Senior Power Platform Engineer will be primarily responsible for administering, configuring, and maintaining the Microsoft Power Platform Suite, which encompasses Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power BI, and Fabric. This role requires a strong understanding of the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including gathering business requirements, developing solutions, creating test cases, managing application lifecycles, providing production support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering and overseeing the Microsoft Power Platform suite, encompassing Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power BI, and Fabric
  • Creating, configuring, and maintaining environments, environment security, on-premises data gateways, and data loss prevention policies within the Power Platform
  • Managing user roles, permissions, and licenses for Power Platform applications
  • Implementing governance policies to ensure compliance with security standards
  • Monitoring performance and health of Power Platform environments and solutions, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating problem resolution with Microsoft support when necessary
  • Installing, upgrading, configuring, and managing Power Platform Center of Excellence Toolkit and augmenting the COE Starter Kit with updated policies for environment creation, premium connectors, admin notifications, etc.
  • Setting up and following DevOps best practices for continuous integration and deployment of Power Platform solutions
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for Power Platform solutions, including technical documentation, user guides, and training materials
  • Providing training to end-users on how to use and maintain Power Platform applications
  • Monitoring and optimizing resource utilization and performance in Service Fabric environments
  • Managing and overseeing Power BI environments, including workspace creation, access management, and usage monitoring
  • Implementing and enforcing data governance policies for Power BI to ensure data security and compliance

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong proficiency in administering and configuring the Microsoft Power Platform Suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve issues within the Power Platform environment
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment
  • Experience working in a banking or financial services environment is desirable
