About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team at CARFAX Canada. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing front-end and back-end applications using a range of technologies including C#, JavaScript, and SQL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop front-end and back-end applications using agile methodologies
  • Assist with back-end API's, websites, and applications using SQL, C#, and more
  • Mentor and guide junior developers to strengthen the team
  • Be responsible for implementing application architectural best practices when beginning new projects with the team
  • Develop unit tests and integration tests
  • Participate in sprint planning with team members
  • Facilitate deployments using automated build and release tools
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in computer science or information sciences
  • Strong programming and technical computer skills in C#, MVC, JavaScript, SQL, and Visual Studio
  • Experience with CSS, mobile application development, responsive design, RESTful web services, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Git, Jira, automated testing and deployment
  • Knowledge of Azure micro services, dependency injection, and SOLID design principles and patterns are considered assets
  • Proven communication skills with technical and non-technical team members
  • Superior organizational and planning skills
  • Collaborative and innovative problem analysis and problem solving
