Job Title: Solutions Architect

TV2 Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our dynamic Platform Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in accelerating our transformation into a cloud-native application.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual who can own and support our entire technology stack, while fostering an environment where our teams feel included, valued, and enabled to do their best work. As a community of software professionals, we are continually growing and learning to keep up with the fast pace of the software industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to prioritize deliverables and ensure timely completion.
  • Work with product owners to define technical requirements and deliverables for each scrum team.
  • Provide feedback during the backlog grooming process to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop technical architecture documentation and define technical requirements to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Work with Scrum teams to ensure provided deliverables meet architecture and design requirements.
  • Provide leadership and direction in technical situations to ensure security and quality are prioritized.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a software architect.
  • 5+ years of working in an agile-based software development environment.
  • 5+ years of experience with issue and bug tracking products (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to deliver results and prioritize group needs.
  • Effective coping with change and finding ways to advance work and projects.
  • Organized and logical approach to finding solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for architecting technical solutions and developing tactical technical requirements.
Benefits
  • Work onsite in Montreal, Canada up to 3 days a week.
  • Normal 37.5 hour work week, Monday to Friday.
  • Type of job: Temporary Contractor – 1 year.
