Job Description

The Principal at Northwood Family Office will act as a trusted advisor for a select group of ultra-high-net-worth clients, providing expert guidance on complex financial matters, particularly holistic wealth planning, tax strategy, and special projects.

This role involves working directly with clients, researching, training colleagues, and contributing to other advisory teams to enhance the firm's expertise in financial planning and tax planning.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Act as a key relationship manager for ultra-high-net-worth clients, managing significant aspects of the client relationship.
  2. Lead complex planning initiatives, focusing on tax strategy, planning, and investments, ensuring proactive client needs management.
  3. Cultivate relationships with external advisors, including tax professionals, investment advisors, legal counsel, bankers, and insurance providers.
  4. Develop tailored wealth strategies, aligning with each client's goals and focusing on long-term planning and wealth preservation.
  5. Manage ongoing financial reporting, delivering customized reports reflecting each client's unique needs.
  6. Coordinate accounting and tax compliance processes, collaborating with external professionals to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  7. Mentor junior team members, providing feedback, professional development, and guidance to enhance performance and growth.
