About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Communications Specialist, Publications and Industry Engagement to join our team at BC Housing.

This role involves developing and implementing communications plans, publications, stakeholder relations, and event planning to support BC Housing's research and education activities around residential construction in British Columbia.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Considerable knowledge and understanding of the philosophy, theories, and principles of communications, including as applicable in the public sector environment
  • Ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders in planning and implementing communications strategies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communications strategies to promote BC Housing's research and education activities
  • Produce high-quality communications materials, including reports, articles, and social media content
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including home builders, industry partners, and consumers
  • Plan and execute events, workshops, and conferences to support BC Housing's research and education activities
