We are seeking a skilled Metals Fabrication Specialist to join our team in Saint-Jerome, Canada.

Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for performing welding tasks to fabricate and repair metal structures and components. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your technical skills and attention to detail in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Perform various welding operations using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion and achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship with a focus on metals fabrication.
  • Certification in welding techniques, such as AWS (American Welding Society) or CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau).
  • Previous experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting with a strong understanding of safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control to ensure accurate and precise workmanship.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with regular exposure to heavy machinery and hazardous materials.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $45-$55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
