Job Title: Truck Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our team at Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The Truck Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the activities of vehicle operators and crews, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of shipments and deliveries
  • Monitor personnel workloads and locations to optimize dispatching efficiency
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry and communication with customers and drivers
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to urgent calls from customers
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators and crews
  • Ensure compliance with highway trucking regulations and company policies
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dispatching or logistics role
  • Strong knowledge of dispatch management software and monitoring/tracking systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
