IT Internship Opportunities

We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our IT team as interns. As an IT intern at Desjardins, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and contribute to the development of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the IT team in the appraisal and planning process, ensuring that roadblocks to delivering value are eliminated or avoided.
  • Assist in the support of all aspects of project delivery up to final closure, ensuring that deliverables are approved.
  • Design, develop, automate, and support complex applications to extract, transform, and load data.
  • Design, create, and set up reports, dashboards, and performance indicators to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement infrastructure based on architecture specifications and operational standards.
  • Actively participate in developing the execution strategy, analysis, and design, coding, testing, and documentation of programs and/or applications.
  • Help collect, integrate, consolidate, clean, store, and mine data flows.
  • Help develop, maintain, support, and run computer applications and data pipelines, ensuring the functional analysis, IT design, coding, fine-tuning, and documentation.
  • Analyze issues related to your field.
  • Conduct research and preliminary analysis.
  • Develop initial outlines of tools and processes.
  • Draw on your comprehensive knowledge of the line of business.
  • Assist clients and partners.
  • Help develop IT governance and compliance approaches.
  • Document several internal processes and procedures related to risk and compliance practices.
  • Ensure the quality of evidence related to general IT controls and follow up with compliance officers.
  • Ensure certain files are handled.
  • Actively participate in quality assurance tests, identify test scenarios (unit, functional, system, non-regression), implement the environment, carry out scenarios, and communicate results.
Requirements:
  • Your educational institution must credit or certify your internship toward an ACS, a DCS, a bachelor's degree, or a master's degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Relevant work/internship experience.
  • Knowledge of French is required.
