We are seeking highly motivated software engineers based in Vancouver or Orlando to join our 2025 EA SPORTS Academy cohort. This unique development program offers an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn with some of the best game development teams in the industry.
The EA SPORTS Academy is a comprehensive onboarding experience that includes a 2-week immersive training program at our vibrant Electronic Arts campus in Vancouver, followed by a third week of onsite work at your local studio. After these initial weeks, you will step into your full-time role on one of our dynamic development teams.
As a software engineer with EA SPORTS Academy, you will have the opportunity to develop features for a cross-platform game, implement C/C++ code, write technical design specifications, and collaborate with designers, content creators, and other software engineers to deliver features.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in B.Sc. in Computer Science, or equivalent training and professional experience.
- Proficiency in C++ programming.
- Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience solving challenging engineering problems with solutions.
- Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge, principles, and solutions.
