About the Position
- As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, while also maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our vehicles.
- You will work closely with our operations team to ensure that our routes are optimized and that our drivers have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
- We offer a competitive starting wage of $19.14 per hour, with opportunities for additional hours and overtime.
- Our drivers enjoy a range of benefits, including a 4-hour guarantee and the opportunity to work on charter routes.
- We also offer a child ride-along program, which allows our drivers to bring their children along on their routes.
- As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for prioritizing vehicle maintenance, conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and providing support to students as needed.
Qualifications
- You must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license for at least one year.
- You must also undergo and pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks.
- Good verbal communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with students, parents, and other staff members on a regular basis.
