We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team at Whitemud Crossing Liquor Store.

Job Summary:

The Liquor Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, including managing sales staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales staff to duties and ensure they are meeting sales targets
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for training to be provided
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage store finances
  • Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels
  • Authorize returns of merchandise and resolve customer complaints
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of sales staff
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
