Director, Property Tax Job Description

The Director, Property Tax is responsible for leading the property tax team at DMA - DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc. This individual will play a critical role in achieving the company's goals by providing expert guidance on property tax matters.

Main Responsibilities

  • Client Account Management: Manage client accounts to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Tax Savings Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to achieve maximum tax savings for clients.
  • Business Development: Participate in business development activities, including identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to team members to achieve their optimum performance levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Real Property Assessment: A college certificate in real property assessment or a university degree in real estate, economics, or a related field.
  • Property Tax Experience: At least 10 years of experience in property assessment valuation methodologies.
  • Licensing and Designations: AACI designation or AIMA/MIMA designation preferred or equivalent appraisal experience desired.
