About the Role
">The Buyer/Expeditor is a key member of the Supply Chain department, responsible for supporting the procurement and material planning functions to ensure smooth production operations.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and coordinate daily activities related to purchase orders, production job requirements, and supplier communication.">
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and maintain accurate records in the ERP system.">
- Support the supplier Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, requesting RMA documentation and working with shipping to manage returns.">
- Purchase MRO materials, including production and facility consumables, office supplies, and breakroom supplies.">
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform monthly reconciliations.">
- Collaborate with Stock Control to ensure material is processed into inventory within 24 hours.">
- Create and manage Work Orders, facilitating closure and back-flushing requirements.">
- Communicate material shortages and potential risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.">
- Contribute to managing item master data and planning parameters within the ERP system.">
Qualifications:
">- ">
- Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Finance preferred.">
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing and material planning, including co-op or internship experience.">
- Familiarity with inventory and production control practices.">
- Proficiency in ERP systems with MRP functionality and Excel.">
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.">
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.">
- Positive attitude and self-motivation.">
- Assertiveness when dealing with suppliers and internal customers.">
