The Buyer/Expeditor is a key member of the Supply Chain department, responsible for supporting the procurement and material planning functions to ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Manage and coordinate daily activities related to purchase orders, production job requirements, and supplier communication.">
  3. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and maintain accurate records in the ERP system.">
  4. Support the supplier Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, requesting RMA documentation and working with shipping to manage returns.">
  5. Purchase MRO materials, including production and facility consumables, office supplies, and breakroom supplies.">
  6. Maintain accurate financial records and perform monthly reconciliations.">
  7. Collaborate with Stock Control to ensure material is processed into inventory within 24 hours.">
  8. Create and manage Work Orders, facilitating closure and back-flushing requirements.">
  9. Communicate material shortages and potential risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.">
  10. Contribute to managing item master data and planning parameters within the ERP system.">

Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Finance preferred.">
  • 1-2 years of experience in purchasing and material planning, including co-op or internship experience.">
  • Familiarity with inventory and production control practices.">
  • Proficiency in ERP systems with MRP functionality and Excel.">
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.">
  • Positive attitude and self-motivation.">
  • Assertiveness when dealing with suppliers and internal customers.">
