About Pediatric Urgent Care Inc.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team at Pediatric Urgent Care Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and adolescents in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, from common illnesses to complex medical issues.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in pediatric care.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a pediatric residency program or equivalent experience.
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) and Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II) certification.
  • Specialty residency training in pediatrics.
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an urgent care setting.
  • Knowledge of pediatric emergency medicine and critical care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
