Job Summary

Cabot Links is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping Tasks
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
    • Dust and polish furniture to ensure a high level of cleanliness and presentation
    • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
    • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a comfortable and clean sleeping environment
    • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests
    • Stock linen closets to ensure a sufficient supply of linens
    • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene
    • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment
    • Clean and disinfect elevators to maintain a clean and safe environment
    • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide excellent customer service
    • Provide basic information on facilities to guests
    • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment
    • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
    • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and safe environment
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
    • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the housekeeping department
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position
  • Experience is an asset, but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
Language

The primary language spoken in this role is English.
