About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team at Webber. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining contracted assets and performing various duties as directed by the Patrol Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing duties of shift supervisor during winter maintenance season.
  • Assisting supervisor in organizing work activities and ensuring value for money is achieved.
  • Overseeing work operations and providing leadership to junior staff members.
  • Inspecting work performed by contract staff and advising on deficiencies.
  • Preparing and maintaining records related to equipment operation and maintenance hours.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of three years' experience in construction, road maintenance, or related field.
  • High School Diploma (required) and valid Ontario Class 'DZ' Driver's License.
  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to prepare reports and recommendations.
Work Conditions and Physical Demands
  • Exposure to outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
  • Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and moderate noise levels.
