In this role, you'll join our Property Large Loss team, where you'll work closely with colleagues to investigate, quantify, analyze, adjust, and settle complex property claims. This challenging yet rewarding role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate relatively complex claims involving residential, commercial property, or equipment breakdown losses.
  • Communicate with customers, contractors, consultants, and other parties to gather necessary information.
  • Document the claim file by collecting reports and statements from relevant experts.
  • Analyze information, interpret insurance policy wording, and determine coverage.
  • Negotiate with customers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers to settle claims within established authority limits.
  • Maintain current knowledge of insurance products and appraisal/investigation techniques.

Requirements

  • A university degree or relevant training/experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience handling personal and commercial property claims, with direct field experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Self-motivation, goal orientation, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with proficiency in computer applications.
  • Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
