About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ready Mix Driver to join our team at Lafarge Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ready mix concrete to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Logistics and Delivery: Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver ready mix concrete to job sites, adhering to all traffic rules and regulations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, logistics teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during delivery, ensuring minimal disruption to our customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a related field, such as logistics or customer service.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and a strong sense of teamwork.
  • Certifications: Class 3Q (Air Brakes) or Class 1Q – Driver's abstract required.
