Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Animal Care Assistant to join our Toxicology team at our Senneville (QC) site. As an Animal Care Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our laboratory animals, which is essential for the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain animal rooms and cages to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our animals.
  • Handle and care for laboratory animals, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of pre-clinical studies, including animal handling and data collection.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (DES) required; an AEP in Animal Care is an asset.
  • Ability to work physically, lifting loads of 20-25 lbs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow precise instructions and maintain accurate records.

  • Competitive hourly rate of $18.50, with premiums for evenings, weekends, and overtime.
  • Guaranteed hours, with a regular schedule that includes mostly days, weekend rotations, and holidays.
