Job Responsibilities
The Asphalt Roller Operator will be responsible for operating various types of rollers, including breakdown rollers, rubber tire rollers, and finish rollers. The successful candidate will perform regular maintenance and safety checks to ensure equipment reliability and functionality.
Key Accountabilities
- Distribute, break down, compress, and finish the surface of cooling asphalt in multiple stages.
- Ensure seamless communication with team members to meet project goals.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and work ethic.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will require a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Class 5 Operator's License, and a clean Driver's Abstract. Previous experience in Heavy Civil Construction or labor is an asset, and you must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
