Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Architect to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient software systems that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement full-stack architecture solutions that meet business requirements and technical standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize architecture initiatives and projects.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to implement architecture solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and recommend new technologies and approaches to the architecture team.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to development teams on architecture-related issues.
  • Collaborate with other architecture teams to ensure consistency and alignment with overall architecture strategy.
  • Develop and maintain architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Provide input to the architecture team on technology roadmaps and strategic planning.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with a focus on full-stack architecture.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient software systems.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and service-oriented design.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
