About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Group Account Director to lead our team and drive success for our globally renowned auto client on US market initiatives.

As a strategic thinker with an innovative mindset, you will be immersed in the culture around you and informed by the most current ideas, trends, and behaviors. You will work closely with both brand strategy and comms planning teams to develop and implement overarching account strategies that align with both client objectives and agency capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining strong, strategic relationships with key clients and senior-level internal stakeholders
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business objectives and providing creative solutions that align with their goals
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive account plans that drive results and meet client expectations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution
  • Oversight of budgeting and financial aspects of client accounts, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
  • Ensuring successful execution of campaigns from concept to delivery, maintaining a focus on both creativity and strategic alignment

You will be responsible for managing multiple projects in different phases of the creative process, including project initiation, development, launch, and evaluation. You will also oversee budgeting and financial aspects of client accounts, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 1 year in a group director level capacity
  • Experience working within the auto industry is a strong asset
  • Solid understanding of both agency and client financial management, including production experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
