We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Superintendent to join our team at Bantrel. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating field construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate contractors' operations, ensuring that activities are carried out in accordance with project plans and schedules.
- Monitor and report on construction progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement construction plans, ensuring that they are aligned with project goals and objectives.
- Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that construction activities are being carried out in accordance with project plans and schedules.
- Identify and report on opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as necessary.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including construction plans, schedules, and reports.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Working knowledge of construction management software and systems.
- Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating and cost control principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote or virtual environment.
