About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Credit Broker Channel team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficiency and quality of our collateral adjudication process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach a team of underwriters to ensure timely and accurate mortgage underwriting decisions.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with external broker communities and internal sales and operations leadership.
  • Collaborate with risk management and quality assurance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and Bank policies.
  • Manage third-party vendors, including appraisal management companies, to ensure high-quality services.
  • Participate in corporate projects as a subject matter expert, supporting loan growth and associated audits and testing.
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent experience in mortgage underwriting or a related field.
  • Expert relationship-building skills and excellent analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain daily business performance.
  • French language skills are an asset.
