Our client is a trailblazer in the casino gaming industry, renowned for developing cutting-edge electronic table games (ETGs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive the strategic direction of the software development team, creating roadmaps and setting objectives.
- Lead and manage the Software Development and Quality Assurance teams, ensuring effective execution of development strategies and agile processes.
- Cultivate a high-performance team through coaching, mentoring, and career development, aligning team objectives with organizational goals.
- Ensure engineers have the tools and resources needed to perform at their best, removing obstacles and facilitating project success.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from product definition to successful release, ensuring a seamless transition to support teams.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Deployment, and Support teams to enhance product development and resolve complex issues with sustainable solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- ~5-7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a team of software engineers.
- ~ Strong expertise in Software Development, Systems Design, and SaaS product delivery, with knowledge of software security, quality assurance, and relational database development.
- ~ Proficiency in SQL, Java, C#, Angular or other JS frameworks, and experience with SOA architectures, Restful APIs, and Continuous Integration frameworks.
- ~ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English, with the ability to make independent decisions within a loosely-defined framework.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and passion for casino and card games.
- Experience with Slot Accounting System Protocol and fluency in other languages.
