Job Summary
The Government of Canada - Western is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drugstore Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy or drugstore, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff Management
- Manage and supervise a team of staff members, including assigning duties and responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, and train new staff members as needed
- Merchandise and Services
- Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold in our pharmacy or drugstore
- Operations Management
- Oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy or drugstore, including managing inventory and supplies
- Ensure that our store is well-organized and that our customers have a positive shopping experience
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise
- Financial Management
- Oversee the financial aspects of our pharmacy or drugstore, including managing budgets and ensuring that our business is profitable
Requirements
- Education
- College or CEGEP diploma
- Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a retail or pharmacy management role
- Skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Work Environment
This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced retail environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
