About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at SRA Wasaga Beach Limited. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized, and assisting with food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing
    • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit
    • Load buspans and trays with clean dishes and utensils
    • Place dishes in storage areas
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
    • Handle and store cleaning products
