About the Role

This is a casual part-time opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of clients with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating clients, creating and implementing holistic treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat clients with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions
  • Create and implement holistic treatment plans based on critical analysis and clinical reasoning
  • Manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced multidisciplinary work environment
  • Participate in case conferences and case management
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team of clinicians and various stakeholders
Requirements
  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Solid experience of 3-5 years in assessing and treating adults with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions
  • Experience in Occupational, OWN or WSIB, Veterans Rehabilitation and Mental Health is a significant asset
  • Ability to be self-directed and autonomous, working independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize, manage self-scheduling and meet reporting deadlines
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
  • Excellent oral, written and report-writing skills
  • Proficiency with computers and new technology
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
  • Must have own vehicle and a valid Driver's license is required
