Senior Full Stack Developer for Liquidity and Funding Platform

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at TD Bank. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a challenging project that involves designing and delivering comprehensive end-to-end detailed solutions for our Liquidity and Funding platform.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for technical design and delivery of the System Design Specification (SDS) with overall accountability. They will work in a dynamic environment with direct engagement with global stakeholders, contribute to the technical direction of future versions of our liquidity platform, and develop a deep understanding of securities liquidity and funding functions across different asset classes.

Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
  • 5-7 years relevant experience

The ideal candidate will have strong Java experience, with a strong understanding of JVM internals, experience with the Spring stack, and experience in microservice development using Spring Boot. They will also have experience with Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar, and designing and integrating with REST API endpoints. In addition, they will have experience with RDBMS, demonstrable fluency in SQL, and experience with Git, CI/CD toolset (Maven / Gradle), Jenkins, and working within an Agile environment.

Strong understanding of system design and scalability, familiarity with application monitoring solutions and KPIs, and strong understanding of clean coding practices are essential. Knowledge of messaging technologies (preferably Kafka), Azure (preferable) or AWS, Google Cloud, Angular, React would be a plus.
