Job Summary:


As a Banking Associate at National Bank, you will play a key role in providing exceptional client service and support to our discerning high-net-worth clientele. Your primary responsibility will be to offer a comprehensive range of financial services to individuals, corporations, and government agencies across Canada, as well as specialized services to a select group of international clients.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide administrative support to bankers and private bankers, ensuring timely follow-up and exceptional customer service
  • Develop personalized, trust-based relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Optimize interactions with clients to identify opportunities for multi-product offerings that meet their needs
  • Open business and personal files, perform various transactions, and maintain accurate records on behalf of clients
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and risk management rules, analyzing financial information and tax structures as needed
  • Meet deadlines for multiple transactions, establishing effective communication with various parties involved in the files


Your Team:


As part of our passionate team, you will work closely with sector members and report to the Vice-President, Private Banking 1859. We foster a dynamic work environment and encourage collaboration using cutting-edge tools. Our team is committed to going the extra mile to serve our distinctive clients in a market with strong potential.



Requirements:



  • Completed college diploma or equivalent in a related field and three years of relevant experience
  • Completed the Investment Funds in Canada Course
  • Experience in personal and/or commercial credit
  • Knowledge of banking, investment, and financing products
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Outstanding sense of initiative and autonomy
