Job Summary

The Warehouse Clerk reports to the Branch Manager and performs various tasks in the branch warehouse. This role is responsible for receiving incoming merchandise, placing products in the correct locations, verifying accuracy and condition of ordered products, managing part of the inventory, and handling merchandise returns.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and processing incoming merchandise.
  • Placing products in the correct locations within the branch.
  • Verifying accuracy and condition of ordered products and assembled warehouse products.
  • Managing part of the inventory and handling merchandise returns.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and safety of the storage area, as well as the appearance of the counter and service areas.
  • Greeting customers at the counter, verifying requested information, and occasionally taking orders.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A High School Diploma.
  • Over six (6) months of experience in handling.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical products and Microsoft Office suite (an asset).
