Cloud Security Technical Architect

We're seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Technical Architect to join our Toronto branch. As a key member of our cloud security team, you'll leverage your expertise in hybrid cloud and on-premise security infrastructure to design and implement industry-leading solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to support project planning and optimize desired outcomes in key accounts.
  • Work closely with architects to implement cloud security technical solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Deliver projects from initiation to successful implementation as a subject matter expert.
  • Ensure security sales opportunities progress efficiently and in a timely fashion towards successful closure.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years' experience with hybrid cloud or on-premise security infrastructure, architecture design, migrations, security frameworks, and/or technology management in a consulting environment.
  • ~5+ years of professional security industry experience across a wide range of technologies, including cloud security, architectures, and concepts such as Zero Trust, cloud security posture management, cloud workload protection, cloud code security, and cloud infrastructure entitlement management.
  • ~Hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including Azure, Purview, Sentinel, ENTRA, M365, Defender, and Priva.
  • ~Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes, data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management (IAM), network security within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments.
  • ~Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, etc).
  • ~Experience working with cloud security and governance tools, cloud access security brokers (CASBs), Next Gen Web Application Firewalls, and Secure Web Gateways.
  • ~Proficiency in data governance principles and familiarization with data compliance standards.
  • ~Working knowledge of common and industry-standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, etc) and understanding of one or more cloud security standards and frameworks such as CIS, NIST, CSA, etc.
  • ~Understanding of Privacy Principles and regulatory compliance, including global privacy laws and regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Bill C11, and others.
