About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Health and Wellness Leader to join our team at YMCA Camp Pine Crest. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the health and wellness programs at our camp. You will lead a team of Wellness staff and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality health and wellness services to our campers and staff.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children and youth in a professional wellness setting and possess a completed degree in post-secondary education such as Nursing, Child and Youth Studies, or Social Work. You will need to have a G Class license and Mental Health First Aid certification, valid until at least the last day of your contract. Wilderness First Responder certification or equivalent experience in remote medicine would be considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee health and wellness checks, first aid assessments, and medication administration
  • Collaborate with the Out-Tripping Directors to address health concerns during outdoor adventures
  • Provide guidance and support to the Wellness staff team
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality health and wellness services to our campers and staff
